Emergency Fundraiser for Stolen Catalytic Converters

Help us raise money to secure our transportation

$8,000 raised

$30,000 goal

We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!

Twice now, thieves have stolen a total of 19 catalytic converters from our fleet of transportation at EmployAbility. 11 vans and 4 wheelchair busses are impacted, creating an urgent need for security in addition to our need to purchase and install the missing parts.

Reports are coming in across the country of a rise in theft for these car parts. After two separate thefts, we know that replacing the parts without added security will only provide additional opportunities for these unwanted guests to return. We need your help to restore our transportation which allows over 75% of our participants to come to campus every day, install fencing to secure our vehicles, as well as invest in cameras and lighting to monitor the property.

Our participants have overcome so many obstacles over the last year. Quarantine was especially hard for those who rely on routine to bring a sense of normalcy to their day. After finally being allowed to come on campus, our participants deserve the security of our services to provide socialization, comfort, and education. Their families deserve the opportunity to go to work on time so they can provide for their loved ones.

Please donate what you can to help us get the vans secured, repaired, and running!
